Arc Infrastructure have partnered with Parallel Systems USA, to develop a prototype of a battery-powered autonomous wagon which will be capable of moving single shipping containers independent of a locomotive or on-vehicle driver. This follows work Parallel Systems is doing with railroads in the United States.
