The closing date for nominations – Tuesday 22 April 2025

The Rail Industry Safety and Standards Board (RISSB) is seeking nominations to join a Development Group to review AS 7634 Railway Infrastructure Survey.

How will this help the rail industry?

AS 7634 considers the safety of employees in the rail corridor undertaking survey work and ensures the outputs of the surveying is fit for purpose and provides for safe railway operations. In considering existing railway surveying, inspection and monitoring, it will focus on the changes in the technology of surveying systems for railways and promotes good practice.

Efforts to harmonise processes across the industry will drive savings through economies of scale. Leveraging new technologies will streamline activities and processes.
