Call for Development Group Members – Code of Practice: Rail Transport of Dangerous Goods

The Rail Industry Safety and Standards Board (RISSB) is seeking nominations from people to join a Development Group to develop the following Guideline.

Code of Practice: Rail Transport of Dangerous Goods

About

Complementing existing Standards and Guidelines, with consideration of end to end transport logistics, this Code of Practice will inform rail transport operators of the requirements for safe transport of dangerous goods on rail.

How to contribute

Stakeholders and interested parties are invited to submit nominations for subject matter experts to join this Development Group to contribute to the overall depth and quality of the product.

Development Group membership is voluntary and requires the support of your organisation to attend and contribute. There will be a minimum of 5 meetings between Jan 2024 and November 2024. These will be planned as teleconferences.
