Call for Development Group Members – Review of AS 7470 Human Factor Integration in Engineering Design ‐ General Requirements

The Rail Industry Safety and Standards Board (RISSB) is seeking nominations from people to join a Development Group to review AS 7470 Human Factors Integration in Engineering Design ‐ General Requirements.

About

This review will ensure AS 7470 Human Factors Integration in Engineering Design ‐ General Requirements continues to provide guidance on how to incorporate human factors considerations into the engineering design process within the Australian rail industry.

This Standard has been reviewed against current Human Factor best practice to ensure the latest concepts and processes are addressed and available to the rail industry.

How to contribute

Stakeholders and interested parties are invited to submit nominations for subject matter experts to join this Development Group to contribute to the overall depth and quality of the product.

Development Group membership is voluntary and requires the support of your organisation to attend and contribute. There will be a minimum of four meetings held between Dec 2023 and Sep 2024. These will be planned as teleconferences; however, this may change to face-to-face meetings where relevant.
