Rail Industry Safety and Standards Board (RISSB) Appoints New Industry Director

RISSB is pleased to announce it has appointed Mr Mark Carling to its Board as Industry Director – Suppliers and Contractors.

Currently Director of Rolling Stock at SNC-Lavalin in Asia Pacific, Mark brings exceptional skills, background and expertise to the RISSB Board.

Mark has served as a Company Director in three Australian businesses over the last 10 years and has spent most of his career working in the rail industry. Mark has held a number of senior executive positions in Australia including Managing Director of Faiveley Transport Australia and Managing Director of Survitec Group.

In his current position at SNC-Lavalin, Mark and his team provide consulting and advisory services to rail operators, maintainers, designers and manufacturers in Australia and South East Asia.

RISSB looks forward to working closely with Mark and the Suppliers and Contractors sector of the industry into the future.
