Click here Edition 37, October 2023 INSIDE THIS EDITION+ CEO Message CEO MESSAGEWith October being National Work Safe month, I thought it worth highlighting a change to RISSB’s work program that has come out of our recent strategy work. Historically, RISSB, in conjunction with industry, has produced many valuable products designed to continuously improve safety, productivity and sustainability. However, to date, RISSB has not directly involved itself with the implementation of these products. Now, the implementation and benefit realisation of RISSB products is a key consideration in the selection of products for the annual Work Plan, and is front of mind during the product development process (ie. overtly identifying barriers to adoption). Also, RISSB will offer a suite of services to assist members in realising the benefits of new products – initial gap analysis, targeted training, Work Instructions and procedures, etc. With this approach, RISSB’s and industry’s Subject Matter Experts are now taking a much broader view of industry’s challenges and the solutions to them, and applying our collective unique expertise to imbed the improvements into our Members’ businesses.
