RISSB publishes its 2024/25 Work Plan
No images? Click here Today we are excited to release our 2024/25 Work Plan which includes 30 projects that will continue to support the industry to become safe, efficient and sustainable. The Plan is formulated from a robust set of criteria including feedback from members, stakeholders and governments, key safety risks from RISSB’s Australian Rail Risks Model (ARRM), national interests and regulatory priorities, and major incident investigations outcomes. The outcomes of this year’s Work Plan is supported by an increased focus on product adoption and implementation. Whilst there’s been many improvements introduced into the Australian rail industry through the development and adoption of RISSB’s Standards and other products, continued innovation is critical for the industry to improve its safety, productivity and sustainability outcomes. That’s why there is an increased focus on its implementation and quantifying the real and tangible realised benefits of adopting RISSB products. The work that RISSB undertakes is valuable. We are an integral part of the solution towards productive and safe railway operations with a lens on harmonisation and interoperability, and the focus goals of Net Zero 2025. Here are some of the ways RISSB will support adoption and implementation:
As always, we invite feedback on the Work Plan particularly ideas that can assist in improving product adoption and benefit realisation. If you are interested in contributing to the development of any of the projects, please submit an expression of interest to info@rissb.com.au. |
