RISSB’s 2018 Priority Planning Forum – Time’s Running Out to Have Your Say
Less than a fortnight remains for stakeholders to submit a product idea for RISSB’s forward work plan.
This year, all product ideas must be received by COB Thursday, 15 February 2018 to be in consideration for the 2018/19 work plan.
To submit a product idea, simply download and complete RISSB’s Product for Prioritisation form and email it to info@rissb.com.au by COB Thursday, 15 February 2018.
Submissions must document how each new product will benefit the industry. Specifically, how a product will:
· support interoperability/harmonisation across Australia’s railways;
· potentially improve national safety levels;
· deliver a financial impact (e.g. cost reductions), and
· deliver environmental benefits.
For us to develop a forward work plan that best meets the needs of all stakeholders, we need your input and involvement.
HOW TO GET INVOLVED
Each year RISSB invites industry stakeholders (and other interested parties) to put forward ideas for new standards, codes of practice or guidelines that will deliver the greatest benefit to the rail industry. Ideas are then listed on RISSB’s website for peer review and prioritisation.
Getting involved in the PPF process is simple. You can either recommend a new product now, or help us determine which products are the most important and will deliver the greatest benefit, during the ranking period.
