The RISSB Board is pleased to announce it has appointed Mr Scott Cornish to its Board as Industry Director – Passenger Operations. Currently Executive General Manager Safety, Risk and Assurance at Queensland Rail, Scott brings extensive leadership and risk management experience to the RISSB Board. Scott has 30 years’ experience in the global oil and gas, transport and logistics industries, holding senior management roles encompassing operations, HSE, security and the community. In his current position, Scott is responsible for all workplace health and safety, rail safety assurance and risk and compliance activities across Queensland Rail. RISSB is looking forward to Scott joining its Board and working on behalf of its passenger rail members. Configuration Management for Railway Contractors to be Published in July A Guideline for contractors on configuration management is finalised and, subject to Board approval, will be published in July.
