Type Approvals Research Report Launch
New research commissioned by the Australasian Railway Association and Rail Industry Safety and Standards Board has found that inefficient type approval processes are costing the rail industry $230 million per year.
The research, conducted by Synergies Economic Consulting, reviewed the range of type approval processes used across the country and found that industry and governments can save time and money by adopting a more nationally consistent standardised process. Read the media release here.
Earlier this week, Synergies Economic Consulting, RISSB and the ARA officially launched the report delivering a one hour webinar highlighting key findings and takeaways for industry.
A recording of the webinar can be viewed here. The report can be downloaded here.
