AS 7474 Rail industry - System safety Development Group Keep up the Momentum Development Group (DG) members for AS 7474 Rail industry – System safety (currently out for public consultation) have kept up their momentum, and have elected to review the System Safety Guideline. As the Guideline was developed before the Standard, the DG chose to review the Guideline in line with the structure of the proposed Standard. This gives potential users a full suite to assist with system safety - the what and the how! It is interesting to note that the DG have chosen to remove ‘assurance’ from the title, taking the view that assurance is a result of the process rather than a component of it. AS 7373 Complex Systems Integration in Review AS 7473 Complex Systems integration is in its final stages of review before publication. The DG worked diligently to provide a useful and informative standard. The final review includes ensuring that the language and format are consistent wit standards Australia requirements.
