This Part gives an overview of the structure and application of Volume 4 of the Code together with principles to be applied in the management of infrastructure by following the life cycle approach used in AS 4292. It describes each of the life cycle phases and indicates, in general terms, how these are applied to both civil and electrical infrastructure management.
